The objective of the programme is to build self-confidence, enhance self-esteem and improve overall personality of the participants. The programme aims at grooming the participants through sensitizing them about proper behavior, socially and professionally, in formal and informal circumstances.
Our brains perform so many functions that living with one can sometimes become a confusing mess. How many times have you had mixed thoughts, feelings, ideas, solutions, and memories clammoring for some mental real estate, all while trying to stay focused on something else? In this module we'll understand the reactions of our mind and we will see how to focus on necessary things.
We will know the role of awareness in personal development. Awareness may be focused on an internal state. Having self-awareness means that you have a sharp realization of your personality, including your strengths and weaknesses, your thoughts and beliefs, your emotions, and your motivations.
Self image is how you see yourself. This may be how you see yourself physically or your opinion of who and what you are which is normally called self concept. It is important as it affects your self esteem and confidence.
We will discuss about this and we will know how to create a positive self image.
We will talk about Beliefs which are basically assumptions that we make about the world and our values from those beliefs. Our values are the things that we deem important and can include concepts like equality, honesty, education, effort, perseverance, loyalty, faithfulness, conservation of the environment.
Fear is an emotional response induced by a perceived threat, which causes a change in brain and organ function, as well as in behavior. Fear can lead us to hide, to run away, or to freeze in our shoes.
But most of our fears are just assumptions and these can kill our confidence as well. This module helps us to know our fears.
We will know our fears and we will find ways to breakthrough.
This is likely the most used term for these related concepts outside of psychology research, but there is still some confusion about what exactly self-confidence is. We will understand what does self confidence means why one requires to build a strong personality.
It is no doubt that communication plays a vital role in human life. It not only helps to facilitate the process of sharing information and knowledge, but also helps people to develop relationships with others. Therefore, we will discuss as how one can improve his communication skills and present himself confident.
Many of us have the fear of public speaking. The fear goes out of the boundary even more when we are not calm and do not feel better, as long as you bring anxiety to yourself, you cannot express yourself. This module will teach us the solution for public speaking fear and we will learn to express our thoughts without any hindrances
Conflict pertains to the opposing ideas and actions of different entities, thus resulting in an antagonistic state. Conflict is an inevitable part of life. We will learn to handle conflicts and will understand as how to take conflicts positively.
We will learn to improve our Emotional intelligence in this module as it refers to the capability of a person to manage and control his or her emotions and possess the ability to control the emotions of others as well. In other words, they can influence the emotions of other people also.
We will know about people skills and the role it plays in our lives. People skills are defined as the ability to listen, to communicate and to relate to others on a personal or professional level. Good people skills also extend to include problem-solving abilities, empathy for others and a willingness to work together toward the common good.
